Hi! I'm Courtney Raphael and I am an artist based in Atlanta, GA.
I have been passionate about art since a very young age. Even before entering high school I knew I wanted to make art. I started with simple pencil drawings in middle school, then, quickly began to learn digital painting. I began painting with watercolor in 2013 when I entered university to receive a BFA in Drawing and Painting.
My story took an interesting turn after I graduated when I received a job as a Graphic Designer. I learned even more about creating digital art through this lens. Shortly after, my career took an even deeper curve as I pursued UX/UI Design. Today, I am professionally a freelance UX/UI designer and I love it!! But i feel something is missing....
I have always wanted to be an Illustrator. Now with my new found freedom, I have decided to pursue my dream that I had put on hold many years ago. This website showcases my work through the years of my art journey. Enjoy!
